- The drop cable slitter can separate the jacket and strength members from a buffer tube while leaving the fiber undamaged. It is ideal for FTTH technicians working with flat fiber drop cables.
- Designed to slit 0.250in. flat drop cables as well as various other cables such as Super Essex Communications Series 6U, 6T tonable, W7, W7 tonable, 6U 24F, and 6T 24F tonable flat drop cables.
- Slits flat cables 0.305 to 0.350in. wide and 0.155 to 0.185in. high, typically found in Corning SST-Drop flat cables with a jacket thickness of 0.03 to 0.04in..
- Can separate the jacket and strength members from the buffer tube leaving fiber undamaged. Slits both sides of the jacket simultaneously, allowing easy access to fiber or strength members.
