- Dual-Scale System: The laser-etched scale rail features both imperial and metric scales in crisp, high-contrast clarity – read your preferred unit instantly. Maximum cutting range: 0 to 68 inches (0 to 173cm). The scale itself reads up to 70.75", but the flip stop is engineered to lock securely at 68" – no slipping, no guesswork. Standard rip cuts from 11" to 68" (28–173cm) and narrow rip cuts from 0 to 11" (0–28cm) via the dedicated side scale – one system that covers both. Narrow rip cuts require repositioning the flip stop head
- Precision Micro-Adjustment: The precision flip stop features a micro-adjustment knob with 0.001 inch (0.0254mm) accuracy. Each full rotation moves the stop by exactly 0.5mm (0.02") – clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease, with a total adjustment range of 0.05mm to 10mm. Coarse position the stop to your approximate size, then dial in the exact dimension – no trial cuts, no re-measuring
- Quick Setup & Repeatable Cuts: Secure the flip stop at the 37cm mark, insert the calibration rod, slide the scale rail until the blue plug aligns with the cut line, and tighten the bracket screws. After calibration, the scale reads directly from the cut line – no offset needed. Set the stop to your desired width, lock it, place the board against it, and cut. For repeat cuts, keep the stop locked – each new board cuts identically with no re-measuring. (Re-calibrate only when switching guide rails.)
- Universal Compatibility: Compatible with Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, WEN, and most guide rails with side grooves (grooves facing upward). The connecting sliders insert from above into the upward-facing side grooves and lock securely in place. Not compatible with rails that have a center groove, no groove, or grooves that do not face upward – check your guide rail cross-section before ordering
