This will help you create beautiful borders with perfectly spaced lines every time. Quilting with a ruler gives you a guide so you can create even, beautiful patterns throughout your quilt. When using a ruler, consider using TrueCut TrueGrips on your ruler to keep it from shifting around on you while you quilt. You may also want to consider getting a ruler foot for your machine to make working with rulers as easy as possible. When choosing a template thickness, choose 1/4 inch thick for longarm and midarm machines. Choose 1/8" thick for smaller home quilting/sewing machines.
