The Lancer Switch Pressure Assembly Syrup Out is the electrical contact component responsible for monitoring line pressures. It detects when a Bag-in-Box (BIB) is empty by sensing the pressure drop, sending the signal to the control board to disable the valve and notify the operator, preventing gas-only pours.

Problem Solved: Restores automated machine response to supply pressure changes, preventing system 'lock-outs' and 'foamy' pours caused by drawing air from empty BIBs. Fixes intermittent selection board errors caused by faulty pressure logic.

Symptoms of Failure: Specific valves failing to fire, the machine failing to acknowledge syrup-out conditions, or intermittent control logic resets during dispensing cycles.

Technician’s Note: Check for 'sugar-wicking' on the wire leads. If syrup enters the switch body through the diaphragm interface, it will create high resistance that eventually melts the plastic housing. Use dielectric grease on the electrical terminals during installation.
