Select your key and the Intelligent Harmony Machines will generate a single note, diatonic harmonies with a huge range of choices that includes both two- and three-part harmonies. The Intelligent Harmony Machine also performs perfect polyphonic pitch shifts so the pitch shifts you dial up are applied to chords as well as single notes. EHX even included a Major and Minor switch so you can select whether 2nds and 3rds will be major or minor.<br><b>Features</b><br>The Intelligent Harmony Machine’s Moment Mode instantly changes the pitch by simply depressing the pedal’s footswitch. The pitch shift is engaged as long as you hold down the F and S. There’s also an option so you can apply a user-set sweep time between dry and effect. Choose instant pitch changes or control the time it takes for the Intelligent Harmony Machine to sweep up and down between the set interval and the dry signal.<br><b>9V Power Jack</b><br>The included 9VDC, center-negative power supply can be connected to the power jack to provide power without a battery. The IHM requires 26mA at 9VDC on a center-negative plug. Do not exceed 10.5VDC at the power jack. When using a 9V battery, plugging into the INPUT jack activates power. The input cable should be removed when the unit is not in use to avoid running down the battery. EHX recommends alkaline batteries for the IHM.<br><b>Key Knob</b><br>This seven-position rotary switch, in conjunction with the toggle switch to its right, sets the key the IHM is in while in Intelligent Mode. This knob has no effect while in Polyphonic Override Mode.<br><b>Key Toggle Switch</b><br>This switch works in conjunction with the knob to its left to set the key of the IHM. With the switch in its upwards position, the key is set to the sharp variation of the key set by the KEY knob. With this switch in its downward position, the key is set to the natural variation of the key set by the KEY knob. This switch has no effect while in Polyphonic Override Mode.<br><b>Maj and Min Toggle Switch</b><br>In Intelligent Mode this switch sets whether the key (set by the Key knob and switch) is major or minor. In Polyphonic Override Mode this switch can be used for intervals 3, 4, 7, and 8 (3rds and 2nds) to set whether the pitch-shift interval is a major 3rd and 2nd or a minor 3rd and 2nd.<br><b>Poly-Override Button</b><br>Use this button to switch between Intelligent Har- mony mode and Polyphonic Override mode. When this switch is lit the IM is in Polyphonic Override mode.<br><b>Interval Select Knob</b><br>This eleven-position rotary switch selects the interval of the harmony or pitch shift applied to the effect signal. The exact function of these intervals varies depending on which mode the IHM is in.<br><b>Mix Knob and Vol Knob</b><br>Mix Knob sets the mix between the dry and effect (harmony or pitch-shifted) signal. Fully dry signal at minimum, fully affected signal at maximum. Vol Knob Sets the output volume of the IHM.<br><b>Moment Button</b><br>When this illuminated button is lit, the IHM is in momentary mode.
